Why Isn’t My Website or Blog

Good Enough for Mobil Phone Users?

A common misconception is that smartphone users can browse websites as easily as computers. Most mobile users will not browse your website, and it’s because they cannot browse it. Everything on the web is made for viewing on computer screens, not in any way created to be seen by mobile devices.

Most of the time a smartphone user on your site can’t even perform the simple task of signing up for your newsletter, viewing a video or listening to an audio message because computer programing languages so often cannot be read by smartphones. But Apps are designed specifically for mobile devices. They keep it simple for the small screen and its internet limitations. Conversely apps aren’t straddled with the limitations of websites.

This is why we see the statistics climb drastically in the graph below. The graph tracks how smartphone users chose to browse apps over websites. In only 1½ years more mobile phone time is spent browsing apps than attempting to navigate the problematic Web.

I’m very interested in getting apps for my books. I have a few questions and possible suggestions for you.

    1. I’d like to see a sample of apps you’ve produced – screenshots on your site and maybe a link to download one to test it out.

    Do you have these available?

    2. Another thing I’d like information on is how to market the app. It’s great there are 25 billion apps for Apple…but isn’t that 25 Billion I have to compete against?

    • Thankx for stopping by, and for your questions. Everything you requested is already on this site or being prepared to add.

I have photos of the Android app all over the purchase page (and sprinkled throughout this article series too).

Click on the page GET YOUR AUTHOR APP, then choose ANDROID AUTHOR APP (iPhone coming soon). http://www.mybookmarketingsystems.com/getyourownauthorapps/android-author-app/

Also in several spots on that page are large custom QR codes for you to download my free app (still in production) by scanning with your Android or compatible smartphone.

And I’m writing the marketing section of this article series right now, and awaiting example images from my programmer.

You’re wise to want to know more about it. The practical application of your app (marketing with it) will be covered in my ongoing articles.

To keep informed of when they come out and everything else go to our SUBSCRIBE TO STAY INFORMED page in the menu above http://www.mybookmarketingsystems.com/subscribe-to-be-kept-informed/ and subscribe here and to our PAC Blog where you’ll learn all about book promotion and our author apps.
